AJ Gammond Agricultural Stores.

We are a locally established Third Generation family business based in Malvern, Worcestershire. We have been supplying agricultural services and products since 1973.

From the start Mr A J Gammond set out and developed a land drainage service business conducting work throughout Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire ensuring that farmland remained well drained and in peak condition for grazing and growing crops, and also laying pipes for Sewage, Drainage and water supply.

Mr Gammond also developed a pipe supply business aimed at selling all types of pipes to coincide with the services provided specialising in land drainage, water waste removal, sewage, irrigation land management and water pipe infrastructure for livestock watering troughs.

A downturn came in the 1980’s when subsidies to farmers to upkeep their land got drastically cut! The business diversified into a Renault Tractor dealership for a short time alongside the pipe supplies to weather the storm.

During this time the service arm specialised in heavier groundwork focusing on trenching and rock excavation expanding to cover the whole of the UK supporting the growth of civil infrastructure for major road networks, rail networks, airports, utility, quarry and public sector work. This is still very much a major part of the A J Gammond business.

Whereas the pipe supplies ran successfully alongside. This side of the business is now undergoing its own transformation to cater for all agricultural, ground working infrastructure needs, keeping in line with the roots of the business selling pipe, land drainage ranges but with ever developing new product ranges tailored to farm infrastructure, land/ livestock management and farm upkeep.

Stocking Agricultural ranges from electric fencing to animal husbandry. Hardware, gate fixtures, nuts, and bolts to everything you need in your workshop to our brand-new ranges of safety PPE and practical workwear but always keeping the core products that built the business water fittings, soil pipe, land drainage etc.

We are proud to be a family business offering quality products at great prices making it a priority to source as many of our products from UK manufactures and or family businesses where we can.

Agricultural Supply is the heart of our newly branded AJ Gammond Agricultural Stores where during the next year we will be investing into new product ranges, building upgrades and new trading platforms.
