About Us

AJ Gammond is a third-generation family business established in 1973 in Malvern, Worcestershire.  We provide a comprehensive range of agricultural products and services, building upon a foundation of expertise and a commitment to serving the farming community.

Initially, the company focused on land drainage services throughout Worcestershire, Herefordshire, and Gloucestershire, ensuring optimal land conditions for grazing and crop production.  This included installing drainage systems, as well as pipes for sewage, drainage, and water supply.  Complementing this service, we developed a specialised pipe supply business, offering a wide variety of pipe solutions for land drainage, waste removal, sewage, irrigation, land management, and livestock watering infrastructure.

In response to shifts in agricultural subsidies during the 1980s, the company strategically diversified, briefly operating a Renault Tractor dealership alongside its core pipe supply business.  Simultaneously, the service division expanded its capabilities to include heavy groundwork, specializing in trenching and rock excavation.  This specialisation led to significant growth, supporting major civil infrastructure projects across the UK, encompassing road networks, rail networks, airports, utilities, quarries, and public sector initiatives.  This heavy groundwork service remains a key component of AJ Gammond’s operations. Our pipe supply division has continued to thrive and is currently undergoing a strategic evolution to meet the evolving needs of modern agriculture and groundworks.  While maintaining our core offerings of pipes and land drainage solutions, we are expanding our product portfolio to address a wider range of farm infrastructure, land and livestock management, and general farm maintenance requirements.

Our current inventory encompasses a diverse selection of agricultural supplies, from electric fencing and animal husbandry equipment to hardware, gate fixtures, workshop essentials, safety PPE, and practical workwear.  We remain committed to providing the foundational products that established our reputation, including water fittings, soil pipe, and land drainage materials.
